Terms of Service

Last updated: October 6, 2026. Plain-language terms for Daybreakworks social media starter packs (Ontario, Canada).

1. Your cooling-off rights (Ontario Consumer Protection Act)

You pay before delivery. That makes this a future-performance agreement under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act (the price is over $50 and the work is delivered later). That gives you a 10-day cooling-off period starting when you receive your written order confirmation (which includes these terms): you can cancel the agreement within those 10 days, for any reason, and receive a full refund — even if we have started work. Each quarterly refresh is a separate order with its own 10-day cooling-off period.

To cancel, email daybreakworkshq@gmail.com with the subject "Cancel order" and your order details. We will confirm the cancellation and refund the full amount to your original payment method within 10 business days.

2. What you are buying

A 30-day social media content starter pack is a written digital deliverable: 30 dated post entries (each with a caption, image direction, hashtag set, and suggested posting time), one platform-adaptation note covering Instagram/Facebook/TikTok, and a posting checklist. Delivery is within 5 business days of payment clearing and a complete order (business name, category, location, website, and any social handles you choose to share).

What is not included:

No account access taken, no logins required, no posting done on your behalf. You post or schedule every entry yourself using the included checklist.
No revision rounds in v1. The pack is delivered as researched, drafted, and human spot-checked. See our refund policy for what happens if there is a material defect.
No outcome promises. This is a content calendar, not followers or sales. We promise the deliverable, never the outcome.

3. AI-assistance disclosure

Packs are drafted with AI assistance and human spot-checked before delivery. The spot-checker verifies that every factual claim in the pack traces back to your public business facts (website, reviews, Google listing) or is flagged as a placeholder for you to fill in. We never invent promotions, prices, services, or customer quotes — but if you spot an error, tell us: material defects are covered by our refund policy.

Competitor feeds are observed for strategy only; we never copy competitors' captions, images, or ideas into your pack.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the truthfulness of the information you send us, for posting or scheduling the entries, and for making sure your posts comply with the rules of each platform and with applicable advertising law. Review every entry before it goes live — the placeholder flags are there for you.

5. Ownership and use

Once delivered and paid for, the pack is yours to use, modify, and republish on your own channels. We keep a copy for our records and may reference the category (never your name or content) internally to improve the service.

6. Pricing and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars: CA$149 one-time per 30-day pack; CA$129 per quarter for the quarterly refresh. Payment is processed by our merchant-of-record, Lemon Squeezy. For the quarterly refresh, each quarter's payment is charged before that quarter's build; you can pause or cancel any time before the next quarter's build by emailing daybreakworkshq@gmail.com.

7. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the version in force when you ordered applies to your order. Current terms are always at https://social.daybreakworks.ca/terms.html.
